»Jo"hustle"burg (Johannesburg)«

by Fernando Antonio, August 7, 2016

The city streets that goes up-hill
In order to succeed it gives you a feel
A university of life that resonates with obstacles of steel
It grinds and pounds until success is real

Takes you to the hills with a huge amount of hassle
Many strive until they give up the struggle
Some persist to the huge amount of stumble

Vroom vroom! Kick start ignitions
Dreamers and hustlers, leaving their comfort zones
Confused at the centre of the city street of cross roads

gazing at choices with a down turned eyes
Being approached by people full of lies
Dreams slowly fading and becoming hopeless
While the chosen few are living their lives with greatness

Oh! Jo"hustle"burg the New York city of Africa
Known to many as a place where dreams come true
Brothers and sisters of Africa coming to witness this too

If you make it in here, you can make it anywhere

I do not need to go overseas
All I need to do is take my suitcase full of dreams
And hit the road to Jo"hustle"burg
